| looks like a bean run on sat Having actually ridden with ODFU several times over 2003 (at least 4 times), I can probably make the most accurate statement of all.
Unfortunately, it's always the rides with incidents that make the headlines. Most of the rides I went on were pretty good, and sometimes I chose to hang back a bit for various reasons, but that's something I'll do on almost any ride where you have a relativley large number of people involved. On any group ride, it's your hand on that throttle, and no one elses.
But I will say this, over the course of 2003, I have found that smaller similar-skilled groups are much better than any massive 20+ bike adventure. |
