| Motorcycle Auction I have been to a few other auctions for other types of equipment and the registration fee is to register you with a number or some type of identification during the bidding process. If you have never been to one, depending on the item it can get a bit carried away. Now the way I read it was that it was fully refundable whether you buy or not, but I would call for confirmation. However, if you buy it will be applied to the payment.
Most auctions will charge between a 10% and 15% fee for their time. That is how they get paid for the work they do. I do not think that it is too much. I was there the other day and it seemed that they had a decent selection available. Anyway, if you know your bikes and know what you are looking for, you can see if one is there and then set what you want to pay for it.
I have seen items go really cheap in auctions because only one or two people were interested and I have seen items go for way more than they were worth, because someone set there mind on getting it at any cost. Either way auctions can be a lot of fun to watch other people squirm as they decide to bid higher or not.
