I don't think a membership fee would be a good idea, new members wouldn't register, thus, NESR would not grow. I'm all for a donation account tho. Some members cannot afford paying much, like myself, I'm out of work, and it's Man God who's paying for everything right now, including my bike payments and insurance. He paid for the t-shirts, mug and what else I bought from NESR. And he's not even an active member on here (he never post). I'm sure for now I could give a few bucks, but when I'm gonna be working, I'd be willing to give more just to keep NESR alive. If this site goes down....I don't know how the heck I'm gonna meet new riders. Believe it or not, NESR is one of the only things where I can "speak" with people and have a little fun once in a while. Mom at home doesn't allow much to meet and make new friends...
But I understand I am not the only member in here. I just hope everything will work out at the end!
Jay, if you come to a point where you're tired of running the site, maybe you could consider offering it to someone else who would be willing to take care of it so we don't loose NESR?
