I think it looks quite good... even the exhaust.

I don't know how you can say it's stealing the VFR tail section design.

The VFR is one of the only bikes that has the turn signals & brake light nicely integrated into the tail.

Mad props to Suzuki for recognizing that everyone was immediately chopping the fender and changing out the turn signals. There are only so many ways to nicely integrate everything so of course it is going to look somewhat similar to the VFR.
