I never saw the movie, but my reason wasn't really secular at all - I think if I went and watched a movie about Satan getting flogged and beaten for two hours, I'd feel bad for him. And I'd be depressed and would have wasted money paying to see a movie, which I do only to be entertained. |
I can guarantee that Super Troopers will make me speculate and think in depth much more than that crap-fest. At least I didn't know how Super Troopers ended before I saw it!
