Yeah, I'm sure you did. When it all became clear to me what was going on last year, it REALLY pissed me off. For a moment, a BRIEF moment, I thought the Redsox were all right. THEN, THEN, they toss out Grady, and bring in Epstien (yeah I know, apples to oranges), couldn't they keep the same line up and try again? It's kinda like, yeah, ok, you fucked up, beat it we'll find someone else, yeah, GREAT we-stick-together team..

Umm....Epstein was already VP & GM when that happened. I didn't like the Grady Little 'scandel' one bit either. But Grady pretty much came right out and dared 'em to fire him. A lot of the players also came forward after all that and admitted they they had lost faith in his ability to manage. I liked him. He did an incredible job with what he had to work with. Who in their right mind thought they'd go as far as they did last year? He managed the shit outta that team. But he did basically ask 'em to fire him. It was sad, all around really...

But look at what the Astros've done since THEY fired him. Hmmm....

realistically, i think pro-sports has lost what it's all about: playing the fucking game (something we all tell our kids too, it's not winning, but how you play the game), not doing everything possible, to win this or that, having the biggest pockets for the best players, that sort of thing.
