RV Down, Need Rental Suggestions

So I have my bike in Boston and my teammates in southern New Hampshire and our RV is out of comission for this weekend, we just found out yesterday there is a major problem with the brakes.
I need any ideas for renting a cargo van or small truck.
U-haul only will do an 8 hour rental, NOT the whole weekend unless I want to spend like $300.
I already tried Ryder and Budget Rental
So far most places want about $25/day and then around $1.00 per mile.
Coming from Boston I can't afford it.
If anyone knows any cheap rentals or can think of alternative ideas let me know.

Oh well, worse case I do Penguin in June and postpone everything a month.
Life is full of un-predicatble problems, so nothing new!

Post your problem on the NEAR list. Someone may be able to help you out.

National car rental rents pickup trucks, but you would end up paying probably $200 for the weekend for that also.

We are gonna see what our options are by the end of today.

I figured we were all set by having an RV..........Guess we should of gotten one a little newer than 1980

Either way I'll be up there on Saturday, if not as a racer than at least a supporter of everyone else.

-Yeah I'm bummed right now, BUT I really could use the extra time to really prep everything.
Making this Race weekend was just a complete scramble all week.
I've also dropped alot of loot and my bank account could use a break.....I'm trying to find upsides to not racing this weekend.
Anyways I'll be up there this weekend.

Try Enterprise, i've rented trucks from them before and it was about $40 per day for unlimited miles.

I have room for one bike if you can get it to my shop in Smithfield RI by 3pm tomorrow (thursday). If you're interested, call me tomorrow and let me know
