It's worth measuring just to be sure. Most frame damage can not be seen. The bending occures when the tire rubs on the ground and twists the frame around the steering head. I have seen plenty of chassis with that dent, caused by the handle bar end, where that was the only damage, but you really should have me measure it just to be sure. Or you can check it the old fashoined way, go 100 mph, take your hands off the bars and see what happens! |
