It is disgusting that we pledged less than the average lottery jackpot to help out. We pay our PITCHERS more money. ONE person who plays a frickin GAME. A basketball player got in a fight will loose out on nearly a quarter of that total amount pledged in salary for one year. It is very sick to think that rebuilding the lives of hundreds of thousands of people isn't worth less than a QUARTER of the payroll of our beloved red sox.
And people wonder why the rest of the world hates us.
