Check your compresion.
Try to find out what your compresion should be for the bike and compare. If you catch it soon enough a new piston and ring s with a few gaskets is pretty cheap and a good idea after a while anyway.
Another thing to check would be the reeds. They are in the boot that goes from the back of the carb to the cylinder. They come out in a triangle block and should be flush with the surface they are mounted to. If not they need replacing as well, the OEM reeds are a good choice for replacements unless you have modified your bike with exhaust etc.. |
