Brockton Cycle used to have more up-to-date merchandise too. Lately it seems they stock the shelves with year old (or even 3 year old stuff). If you are looking for the latest or best technology, this probably won't be the place you'll find it. In fact, while some merchandise is less expensive than other places, some stuff seems to be priced over retail. I was looking at Kryptonite locks on their website. The NY lock retails for around $65. Other sites sell it for as low as $53. Brockton Cycle's price: $79.99...WHAT??? I thought this was for the lock AND chain, but when placing a mock order I found the chain to be an ADDITIONAL $79.99. Both combined retail for only $139.95 -- not even close to the $159.98 that Brockton is gouging.

hmm, perhaps it's a popular item due to the crime rate there. I ride a Ducati (which they don't sell) so have never had any experience with their service or repair work but based on talking to some of the sales reps (who would rather talk to each other than prospective customers) I wouldn't let them wipe the carbon out of my tailpipes.
