| Stretch limit on a 530 chain.
Brand shouldn't be an issue. I found the answer on another board. A chain should not stretch more than 2.5 %. After that you need a replacement. Since my new DID530 x-ring chain is 6.25 inchs for ten links, that means it can stretch to 6.40inchs before replacement. My stock chain is right at that measurement which means its time to change it. |
