great debate here so far guys other than richW thinking the whole world is a communist plot out to get him..

People on the right I admire are William F Buckley and Pat Buchannan as they are cogent and willing to engage in meaningful debate without resorting to shouting or accusations.
I guess the point I'm making here is that a good open debate can really show that there is not a lot of difference between the majority of people in this country..
I hate to see hardliners from either side whether it's the religous right or the looney left push their narrow agendas..
I really belive this country is wide open for a third party to arrive and shake up the balance of power right now as it is sorely needed , as the dems and repubs have become arrogant and selfish
