RandyO....I'll surely be naturilized someday, but not for now. I just don't have that kind of money right now (about $500 to apply). My husband's boss has been living here for about 25 years now, he is still a permanent resident, his wife also, and both their kids are americans, they were born here.
Unless you want to be able to vote, it's not a necessecity to be naturilized. I have all the same rights AND obligations as any other citizen of this country. Even if I was to be naturilized, I wouldn't vote. I never voted once in my own country. I hate politics THAT MUCH. |
