Is it time to rebuild the forks and shock?

My experience with motorcycle suspension is in Motocross and from over 10 years ago. Then - use and abuse had the forks and shock apart every few months.

Now I'm street riding - the bike is a 2002 CBR 600 f4i, with just over 22k miles. I'm about 140 lbs with my gear on, and ride roads (no tracks yet). There's no fluid leaks, and the bike seems to ride fine. The problem is that suspension wears out over time, so it may actually be riding horribly, and I've just adjusted to it.

Is it time to get the forks and shock rebuilt (or just cleaned up) over the winter?
