I am a member of cycleforums as well, and we have a locked sub-forum on the all-girls section about weight loss and fitness. So many were concerned about posting up personal info and pictures that it is locked - not just to non-members, but to members as well. You have to PM a mod and request special permission to be involved, and even then, if the mod doesn't know you due to lack of posting, or newbieness, or just doesn't trust your motives, there is a chance you would not get approved. The downside is it means more work for our mods, but it is possible if there is interest.
That way, kiddy-touchers can't just "stumble upon" pics of your kids.
