I think we should talk to anyone.
Unfortunately we always send lawyers and diplomats. When and if their jaw stops flapping no one is sure what information was transmitted.
I think you can talk while making your position clear without having to "give the other guy" anything.
I would advocate a straight forward mission. If you a.b.c we feel forced to x,y,z. Considering many lives are at stake the least we should have is a clear position with each other. |
