The system sucks, but until there's some middle ground, nothing is going to change.
Father's rights groups want the BASIC cost of raising a child to be split 50/50. Mother's rights groups (insert your favorite feminist group here) want the fricken' world.
Yeah life sucks when you're poor and paying child support, but life also sucks when you're poor and raising a child. I've got very little sympathy for the guy paying $100 a month in child support. WTF? IMO everyone can do something for work, they just need to
want to work.
I could bitch about this subject till next week, but it wouldn't solve anything. IMO the first step in improving the formula, is to define what the support is for.
