The silent Majority is not invented, The vocal minority goes around yelling, hollering and bitching yet DO nothing. When it does come time to voting the Majority rules. How many times has something like this come up and it was squashed when voted on? Granted some things pass but those are usually trifle matters. No I cannot remember specific examples... well Bush did get RE elected. |
The MAJORITY rules. The City of Burlington, and our Senate voted to impeach Bush, for Christ's sake. I'm not saying I agree with these things, I am saying that the majority of VT'ers are super left-wing types. And I am also saying that this concept of a "silent majority" is either a figment of your imagination, or a group of incredibly stupid people for not getting out and voting.
And I sympathize with, and applaud, your statements about Bush. My brother in law is in the same boat - "Thats my boss, so what he says, goes." if he's your boss, especially in the military, you cant go around doubting him.
