Why are democrats trying to kill free speach?

Its a bit of a stretch to blame that on Democrats, there are Republicans involved in various acts of censorship as well. Mike Powell, Colin Powell's son, was the head of the FCC for years, and he is a Republican and a huge censorship fan.
