| Anybody know jack about kayak's?
I've got a Wilderness Systems Pamlico 100 I use for fishing. I bought my daughter the cheapo ($229 I think) Victory 10 footer from Dick's. I really like the Pamlico, but being so short, it's not much fun for distance, but works very well for fishin'. The Victory from Dick's is uncomfortable as hell for me because there's not enough leg room.
Basically...long and narrow paddles easy, but you lose a little stability. Short and wide are very stable, but take a fair amount of effort to plow through the water. |
