Ahhh, the little vaction felt pretty good but I'm back at it now. One thing that kinda made my day yesterday was the neighbor to the right came walking over and introduced themselves. They seemed real nice and they appoligized for cutting down the trees on my land. They are planning on moving in by mid September..though I have my doubts.

The mason finished the chimney, it looks good from a distance but I'm not real happy with his work. I gave him a work platform to work off of on the roof and asked several times to do whatever it took to protect the new roof, I even saved a bunch of cardboard from the windows and told him to use them to keep the mortor off the roof. I wasn't happy to come back and see globs of mortor all over the roof I also don't like the cap, it's got cracks in it because he didn't cover it and it dried to fast, the top is flat, and the flue liners are even with the top? I don't know what he's gonna do about it, but he aint getting a dime until it's fixxed!

Today, I finished the roof and installed the ridge vents, I'm glad i'm done lugging shingles and burning my knees and hands...roofs suck!
I also got most of the first floor framing done today, all I have to do is ferring strap the ceiling and I'm done.

There's my 400' deep hole. I gotta call the well driller tomorrow and see what's up, he got 15 gallons in 10 minutes when I was standing there but on my bill it says 0 gpm? I have a feeling I'll be hydrafracking it.

Just a random picture to let you know I did have a little fun today, gotta ride a couple laps pretty often to keep the trails from growing in..it happens fast
