haha, yeah, it's a worthy stable-mate (the 911 bwaahaaha).
father finally decided to have his real mid-life crisis... he got a brand new, black mazda miata in 2000 (which we both absolutely loved, and its memories still tug on my heartstrings a little, but that's a story for another day), completely out of the blue, and then i guess his finances finally allowed him to step up. he was thinking "i really want a boxster, but if i do that, i might as well get a boxster S... although if i get a boxster S, a base 911 is only slightly more, soooooooooo..." lol, and there we have it. it's a truly beautiful car, he got it in Atlas Grey (basically charcoal with the slightest tinge of blue in direct sunglight). i'm happy to post a few pics of that if anyone/everyone wants...
and yeah, nick, we'll have to go for a spin

. i'll be working from 11:30 to 8pm, so it'll have to be a later-ish night cruise if it's tomorrow... i guess the weekend is supposed to be nice, though. it was looking grim earlier in the week and i was about to cry -- but the weather patterns must've warranted an update, so if not tomorrow than definitely this weekend. i'm hoping Mark will swing by this thread, so we'll have to get him in on the action. there might be a couple other people who'd be interested (my brother on his 600RR) and a buddy or two who might be around, so maybe we can get a local wolf-pack going
edit:
more of my father's car
and one of the most beautiful cars ever
