I felt so good this weekend about my riding, everything felt fast, controlled, loose, and just gratifying. Then in my last race I was in 2nd place on the 3rd or 4th lap and closing on the guy in 1st fast....I came out of T2 and my rear end slid just a hair and before I knew it i was in the worst tank slapper i've ever imagined and it rocketed me right into the wall. I didn't go down somehow, and i was back over T4 by the time i realized anything was wrong w/ the bike and I pulled over and parked it before T6.

Ended up cracking the right side case cover so it was spitting a little oil, bending the pipe and destroyed my subframe. The tail never even touched the wall, it was just my bodyweight from the impact that bent/broke it.

I was really bummed about it, cuz I felt so clean and smooth all weekend and it ended on a pretty bad note. Oh well, at least i'm fine....bikes can be fixed.
