This sounds like universal health care to me. Your just adding unneeded layers and cost to the system.
Canada - I pay taxes to the Government, the government pays my med bills.
BigRed plan - I pay taxes, the government pays my boss (thru tax breaks), my boss buys insurance, insurance company makes profit, insurance company pays my bills, and Oh yeah, my boss pays me less because he has to pay my med insurance.
