**How is it any more my employers responsibility to provide my health care than the gov?

canada - I pay taxes to the gov't they pay for med bills unless you have cancer or some other serious or rare disease then I go to the US and leach off of them.

**canada is used as an example only because the offer universal health care, not because they do it well.

my way - i pay taxes, my boss pays taxes, my boss buys insurance, I buy insuance. I make money, my boss makes money, the insurance company makes money. The gov't fines/taxes to compaines that do not provide ins.

** A tax is a financial charge or other levy imposed on an individual or a legal entity by a state or a functional equivalent of a state.

the constitution is still in tact. supply and demand tells me that with all of these companies having to buy healthcare the prices will go down and everyone lives happily ever after

** Supply and demand would suggest that if more people had access to healthcare (demand), providers(supply) would charge more. Unless you would magically create more providers(hospitals, doctors).

Sorry I can't figure out the multiple quote thing

And back on topic ---- I see today we are on the look out for "dry runs" at airports or pretend terrorists.
