| Anyone watch the X-games? (rant, spoiler)

So, I was watching the moto-X big air last night... I think ESPN should be ashamed of themselves for putting Scott Murray in the competition. This guy didn't have the skills to be there. Shit... he had never even competed anywhere... and his first comp is Xgames? He hasn't spent the time developing tricks, learning skills, etc. He's a one-trick dog who had never even landed his one trick on dirt before. He wouldn't (couldn't?) even do a warm up jump when all the riders were being introduced. He just rolled past the ramp. It's not only dangerous and irresponsible, but a slap in the face to the guys who have busted their ass to get there.
Yeah, everybody loves a Cinderella story, but if they keep admitting no-name guys from the woods just because they're willing to go big someone's eventually going to die on live TV.
