I do the same thing... I hit blue hill nearly every day now after work (i live about 2 miles away)
I'm getting to the point where I can handle her with decent speed and taking decent lines to where i know exactly where my bike will end at the end of the curves... still a work in progress definitely... next up on my list is general maintenance on my own...
