| And speaking of steriods i think the fuss about steroids is ridiculous. I see the point that the record is tainted and all but what about other performance enhancements?
take the legality of steroids away....it is more about the record then breaking the law...
what about the players that get lasik eye surgery....that wasnt around when hank aaron was.... what about the bionic elbow surgery or what ever it is that pitchers get that makes their elbow better then it was and makes them play better.
And all the other medical enhancements that keep the players playing for many more years then their previous generations..where do you draw the line? who draws the line?
Never mind the fact that people want to see big roid'd out guys knocking balls out of the park. Baseball was all but dead until McGuire and Sosa battled it out...
The fans want to see it, the owners want to see it because it fills the staduims and the players want to do it so they can become the next star...
it's all pretty hypocritical to me.....why is it any of anyones business what someone puts into their own body? |
