| Bike requirements
I plan to be at my first ever track day and was looking at the LAPS site and seen it says 75% tires required and I was curious about my current rubbers (hehehe I said rubbers) they are pp 2ct's with about 4k on them that are about halfway to the wear bars in the center but are like brand new every where else but the 2-3 inches that wear from a lot of high way riding. So basicly it about 50% on the center and 90+% on the part that will be used most on the track and I wanted to know if that would be ok at a LAPS event.
Also would it be ok to strip the bike of all the body work but the tail? I figured it would be but want to just ask |
