I completely understand, man. Like SVRacer said above, the stock suspension is "rideable" but it scares the hell out of me in corners. I don't feel that the bike instills much confidence in me, the rider. Maybe that will come in time, but I'm also going to fix it myself. It might be fine for some skinnier kids, but i'm a bit heftier than usual (not by much). The point stands that the SV's stock suspension was sacraficed in production for cost savings. That's the joy of a budget bike - you can mod the hell out of it! I'm glad i'm biting the bullet and upgrading, especially since I plan to ride this bike for a long time to come.

On a different side of things, is the Geometry adjustment worth it? Also, will GMD take my fairings off the bike so it can be a true drop-off/pick-up type deal? How much cost would that add?
