Required Fork Rebuild Equipment


It's not that hard to do. I don't use any special tools, but I'm a hack! I do have the softjaws that are drilled to hold cartridges and pistons for actually changing the valving.

There have been tasks I couldn't do, like removing the rebound valve from my 125 forks. Needed a custom tool made out of a CBR axle or something that Peter just happened to have. He's handy that way.

But a basic rebuild doesn't require much more than wrenches, a drift, a screwdriver, a heat source, and an oil pan. Be carefull while using not specialized tools.
