Hey Jon, seeing as how I'm the first D-B to chime in on this, I'll be nice for a change.
If it ain't broke don't fuck with it You'd be sooooo much better served by changing sprockets ......the front down 1 tooth ( 15 to 14 ) and rear ( maybe up 1 or 2 teeth (44 to 45 or 46).... depends where the FZ makes good power) .
Or you could put a turbo on it and never have to crack the engine open
