Ok with that said .... have you checked the FZ forums to find out if its possible without major head modifications

IF the FZ has a (horizontally) split cylinder bank from the lower cases you should be able to.... do it without crackin the lower end. You'd just take the eng out of the frame to give yourself enough room to work. remove the cylinder bank remove the wrist pin clips and drive the pin out ... put new piston on drive pin in and re clip finish re assembly ..stuff it back in it's home, change the jets, power up the Dyno and .... vua la / viola
