I think I'm gonna go with shaving the head, seems easier and I'm a donkey so it might be more gooderer for me to take that route.
As for the octane. I used to use 93 ALL the time, last winter I put in a
Holeshot Performance Products, Inc. stage II jet kind and it says in big bold letters
USE 87 OCTANE since they dynoed several bikes with that kit on all different grades of gas and got the best numbers with 87. So if you use a higher octane than needed its like pissing up a rope, and thats why I want to bump my compression
