    Electrical short somewhere

    Hey everyone,

Light poster here, but I'm having an electrical issue with my RC51, and, well... I'm a total knucklehead with this SH*T!! Any gurus out there gonna be in NE Connecticut tomorrow morning and want to help a brother out? My bike died at my folks house in Thompson, CT and I'll be there tomorrow. I've narrowed it down to a headlight fuse that's constantly blowing, just gotta find out where and why...

    TIA
    Matt

Take a look under the Tank and make sure the wires are not pinched. I would start there. Any other recent work?

    Re: Electrical short somewhere

I had recently installed a new undertail with integrated turn signals, so I had been focusing my attention there. Turns out the low beam headlight was blown and causing the headlight fuse to blow? Bizzare I know, but if I connected that bad bulb to either the high or low beam headligh plug the fuse would blow as soon as I turned the ignition and the bike wouldn't start With the bad bulb either disconnected, or a good bulb on there the bike starts up no problems? I'm not totally conviced that that's the real problem, it would be some kind of fluke if so.
