Stiffer Suspension

G'day Peter

As my introduction in the Intro forum suggests, I'm into the original 1985/86/87 GSXR's. I'm rebuilding the forks on one at the moment for a drag bike project. The bike will not be road ridden. While the bike will be pretty much street trim with only minor modifications to reduce weight, I would like the front end reasonably stiff so I can lower it on the triple clamps as much as possible.

I just ordered a new set of Progressive Springs for the front and have fitted some custom made alloy blank off plates where the Suzuki NEAS damper use to mount. I bought the blank off plates from Bike Bandit.com i believe.

I guess my question is the best way to further stiffen the front. Extra fork oil, spacers on top of the springs, any other advice would be appreciated.

Cheers.
