Just got good comments yesterday from one of Hobbs' guys, says that the fit is excellent with no adjustments needed, and is the best bodywork he's dealt with.
I've only seen the ZX6 bodywork need very minor trimming along the left main frame spar to get a "perfect fit", but all other bodywork I've sold (CBR, GSXR, 999, R6) has fit perfectly with no reported issues whatsoever. And I know they are working on the ZX6 bodywork to correct the issue.
On other forums, the guys have bought this stuff have had an overwhelmingly positive response to it, so I don't know what you've "heard", but......As a matter of fact, I just got another order this morning.
Is it going to bounce right back in a crash with no damage as if nothing happend? No, but then again, neither will my $1300 Armourbodies, or my $900 Sharkskinz or any other set on the market. And I know I'd rather be replacing a $350 set if needed rather than a $900 set.
If you spend any real amount of time on the track, you
will eventually go down. The only question is: "How much do you want it hurt?"
