The reason the government is involved with steroids is because any player who bought sold or used steroids violated a federal law. I dont think this is so much about who used them, but tracking down who used them in order to get to the dealers and sources of the drugs.
Spygate is diferent no federal law was broekn. THe nfl has a right to govern its own league with its on laws, as long as it isnt letting anyone violate federal laws. Baseball knew steroids were runing wild and the government wants to find out why selgi and MLB allowed this to happen under the watch. ITs like being a witness to a crime, if you dont come forward you are viewed as in accomplis |
