Are you buying new plastics and having them painted?

If so, check out MC Pro Designs. He will pick up the bodywork, paint it and ship it to you.

If you have a vocational high school nearby they usually do it for the materials. You buy, they repair/paint. Waiting lists is the drawback.

Why not "high school for kids who hate the run-of-the-mill boring high school classes"?

I know of some extremely talented people who came out of a Voc school.

Actually the one here in Worcester is state of the art. The latest in equipment. Brand new. Tough to get into. Electrician and plumbing is big. Machinist is dead here. Autotech is good. Capentry is ok but not many union jobs so pay is iffy. Auto body shops are booming from cell phones. They have culinary. Welding. Sheetmetal. Hotel management. Cosmotology. Sorry but no motorcycle course. Or tractor trailer driving. It is just like any other high school. Some kids are on the ball and some are flunkies. If you bring the body work in you may get a kid who will do show quality work or the kid who will sniff the paint.

    Re: Paint-job for race bike

When do you need it painted by? I still have a lot of the red that I painted that bike with and I need to do some painting on my bike as I crashed this weekend. I'm out for about 10 weeks though due to my injuries, but I'll be painting sometime in early to mid June if you want to drop off the bodywork. I can do a basic paint for free...its the prep work that takes time if the bodywork is messed up.
If your not looking for a mint paint job I can help ya out for free/really cheap.
If the bodywork is bad, then may need to do some fiberglass and bondo work first.
    Let me know.
