What are we up to, 26 gallons of gas? That same 4 cord of wood is easily worth 500+ gallons of heating oil. I'm heating my house 99% with wood, and I'm already kicking myself in the ass for not getting a combo wood/oil boiler, then even my hot water would be wood. I've used about 35 gallons of oil sence I filled my tank in the beginning of October, and 34 of those I'm sure was just for hot water |
Hey, woodsie. I suggest you purchase soon whatever wood fired appliance(s) you feel you may want. The greenies are working hard at demanding regulations on emissions for that shit. Most locales around me have already banned or heavily restricted those wood fired boiler deals.
