as a "noob trackday guy" i'm not sure you would even notice HUGE difference between the two sizes. If you're gunna be going with new rubber anyway, I'd probably say make sure everything is back to stock sizes/heights and give it a try. That way you know everything will be correct and you can tweak it from there to your liking. Its hard to adjust without a known starting point.

that's my thought on it anyway, there are definitely more knowledgeable people on here that will chime in
