We're in Southwick MA, not too far from you. Head towards Simsbury/Granby CT and we're right over the Granby's line...
Welcome to NESR! |
Thanks for the welcome everyone. I'm definitely familiar with the Southwick area. I used to race up at Southwick when I was still racing motocross. Not to mention that Route 57 can be one of my favorite roads when heading north. I sometimes run Route 20 to 8 to 57 and back down to head south towards home. A beautiful area up there.
I'd be interested in getting together to do some riding. I don't usually do the speed limit myself...but I have to avoid the "wreckless driving" speeds for the most part. I've done them and will do them from time to time. But I can't take that chance. It also depends on where I am...sometimes I can get a little "professional courtesy" from an officer if I get stopped. It all depends on his mood and if we've ever worked similar areas.
I think a better way to describe how I ride would be following the style of "the pace." For those that aren't familiar, here's a link...
Motorcycle Riding Pacing Tips - Sport Rider It's a decent way to make riding fun and stay out of trouble on the streets.
Once it gets a little warmer and I finish putting the bike back together...we'll do some riding. My parts should be in this week. I ordered some Pazzo levers, a set of adjustable Acculign rearsets and a set of Ti Akrapovic slip-on's. They should all be in by the end of the week and Sunday is my day to spend in the garage putting it together.
