Welcome to the site and great to hear some track interest. I recommend, as a non-racer, coming to the track and hanging out, possibly even cornerworking. It is a great way to get to know the track in a whole different way, and talk to the people who are up close and personal with crashes (and maybe learn second-hand how to avoid them). Hope to see you in T1 in April!
