Good call Doc. IMO the flight leader should have told the 4th jet to follow in trail of the formation instead of pushing it to catch up and join the formation... good initiative, bad judgment maybe?
definitely looked cool though. I heard rumors that this may have actually been planned. Some lady on the news who works at a cafe near Fenway said the practice run before the real thing that same day, he did the same maneuver... but we all know how reliable 7 News is...
