hahahaha, I love it... only a matter of time before I'm that guy hovering around at air shows lost and still half cocked

as for the maneuver, I know it's a perfectly legit maneuver, but as you said, only above 5,000 ft.

I'm going to venture a guess that the 4 pilots were sitting at the bar the night before nursing a couple beers when one of them said to the black sheep of the flight, "hey, I bet you won't roll around the formation tomorrow... c'mon, you know those Boston fans would love it... you won't..." And that's when the blacksheep replies, "fuck you asshole, I'll do it, I'll do it twice!" Hence, we now have a story to talk about.
