I just changed the oil + filter + took the bike to VIR.
it ran very good for 2 days straight but for my last session of the 2nd day, it got really fast for a few laps + then on the straight away started making all kinds of loud knocks,pings,+ clanking noises, so I shut er down + coasted to a stop off track.
I can start it now, but it sounds like a cement mixer.

will changing the oil again with a heavier grade maybe help?  |
Its your muffler bearings. They came loose & are clogging up the exhaust. Change your muffler bearings!
