The 600 also has a slipper clutch I believe. I don't have a rear stand.
I did inspect the sprocket to see if any of the teeth were "shark finned" but they seem to look good.
The chain however does seem to be sagging a little bit.
If the chain is stretched, is tightening possible or at 17k maybe a new one would be the best solution
