| Re: Entrapment? It's the slippery slope argument. We can all agree that school officials must have certain rights over their students above and beyond what might be granted to normal "public officials" in order to maintain order. The question is, where do those rights end?
In this case, there's no doubt in my mind that the principal overstepped those rights. If we allow this, what's next? Should school officials be allowed to strip search students? Where does the line get drawn, and who draws it? |
