I hear great things about TLRman from everyone on NESR. Kinda nice to know there's good mmebers on here willing to help a rider out.
Mark, do you make maps for PCIII or just use the maps off dynojet's site? |
I'll take a base map, (made for your bike pipe/airfilter) and reconfigure it to take out any glitches. I look for a nice smooth power delivery in all rev, and load ranges. Who cares what it does WFO? That's great for Dyno wars, but not for "real world" riding.
I actually took some fueling out of Alicia's map, so sometimes it's not adding fuel all the time to sort things out.
You also have to understand that most of these maps come from bikes run in Arizona, and NOT from around here. The maps will come close, but not always perfect.
I have an inexpensive Dyno, (maybe I should invest in a real one?) but I hear a lot of things that most people don't too. Like the exhaust note, or how the engine is hitting at an idle, too much ignition lead, it just comes all together. Don't ask me how I do it, lets just use it until it goes away. Maybe it's from my countless beatings about the head I used to get from my EX Wife!
